A solid glass "jewel case" without a CD in it, with layered prints of photographs of the instruments and recording process for the album. Very beautiful when the light shines through, and each one is unique, with a different combination of photos on each side...Comes encased in a hand-made and stamped cardboard box, also including essays/writings by the artists. A very limited lovely thing.

Chase Coley & Pascal Colman ( name as such because they couldn’t agree on anything else that was sensible ) have been performing since 2014. They are a duo who practice a mode of non-idiomatic free improvisation that doesn’t sound ( at least not to my knowledge ) like much else out there.

Chase makes Instruments and Pascal makes complementary mistakes on his more traditional looking ( but no more traditional sounding ) setup and together they make a din / a racket / a lullaby / music ... maybe but ( and they themselves would be the first to attest to this ) no one’s quite sure.

The resultant it takes the guise of a freeform ambient sound collage. It is ambient music with teeth comprised of waterphone cries, the gritty, beautiful blanket tones of the Long Stringed Instrument ( big up to Ellen Fullman ), walkies talking, radio interference, feedback, finger picked guitar, miscellaneous tape recordings and bugged phone conversation.

They have performed a large number of shows as part of a ( predominantly south ) London based DIY art community in which they worked with ( now defunct ) temporary spaces like DIG!, more established performance / art spaces such as SET and Iklektic, and festivals such as Supernormal. Their debut EP Horror Music You Can Sleep To was released in October 2019.
